ABSTARCT Dewi Nur Anggraheni. 2018: the title of this final prohect is “ children language acquisition ”a case study of three years old name danesh andiwi thafana” “on phonology acquisition”. Undergraduated Degree. Thesis, English Education Department, Teacher Training and Tarbiyah Faculty, State Islamic Institute of Samarinda. This researcher is under graduance of Mr. Mohamad Muklis, M. Hum as advisor I and Mrs. Rostanti Toba, M. Pd as advisor II Parents should know how to improve the child in language acquisition. Especially in phonology which can improve the child’s development on speech sounds. This research discusses the children’s language acquisition on phonology acquisition at age 3 years old in Samarinda. The main focus of this research is “How is the phonology acquisition by Danesh Andiwi. This research is conducted with descriptive qualitative approach research where the subject and object is taken from the children at age 3 years old in Samarinda. The resarcher takes the daughter named Danesh Andiwi Thafana as the subject and get the data by interview, observation and video recording. After the data had been collected until 9 observations, the writer describes the phonological acquisition by Danesh Andiwi Thafana from the first observation until the last. The result of the reseach showed that the child error in consonants sound, the researcher find some diffuclties, in the first until fifth observations the child can not say the letters of “s/l/n/m/r/g/c/h/k/f” all of the letters are consonants. Another invention the child can talk the Javanese language. The last observation the child get a change better in the letter “s/l/n/m/r/g/c/h/k/f”.
