Samarinda: Teacher Training and Education Of English Education Department at IAIN Samarinda. This research is under supervision of Mohamad Muklis, M.Hum and Sari Agung Sucahyo, M.Pd.
The purpose of this research are describe the types, the process and the writer mastery on dervational affixes which found on the short story in the Jakarta Post Online. Then the research significances are expected to give some theoretical and practical contribution. In theoretical aspects, this research is expected to e useful as a literature or reference for the teacher and the stundent who are teaching learning. In practical aspect, this research is expected to be useful for teacher as an innovation in depeloving teaching learning process.
The design of this research is a descriptive qualitative. The source of this research is short story in the Jakarta Post Online in year 2017. The object of this research is derivational affixes which is found on the short story from Indonesian writes’s. In order to get the data, the research used Short stories text and the analysis derivational table as instrument.
The result of this research show among 319 derived words is found on short storied, some are resulted from noun to adjective 47 words, verb to noun 46 words, adjective to adverb 56 words, noun to verb 3 words, adjective to noun 16 word, verb to adjective 34 words, noun to noun 14 words, verb to verb 14 words, and adjective to adjective 7 words. The researcher found that every short story did not has all the tyoes of derivational morpheme. Different with previous study in Rima’s thesis, she was found only 7 kinds of derivation in students written. | en_US |
