PENGGUNAAN MULTIMEDIA BERBASIS TEKNOLOGI BAGI PENDIDIKAN PROFESI GURU (PPG): ANALISIS USER EXPERIENCE (UX)
Abstract
A good learning must make maximum use of learning media and multimedia to support the
achievement of learning objectives. However, not all teachers are able to create and use
computer-based multimedia.. The purpose of this study was to determine the experience of
multimedia users using the latest technology for Professional Teacher Education (PPG). This
study uses a quantitative approach with a 26 item instrument with six scales owned by the
Indonesian version of the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) at www.ueq-online.org.
Participants were 22 teachers participating in the Professional Teacher Education (PPG)
workshop at IAIN Samarinda in 2019. The data collection used Google Form according to the
instruments and was done within 10-15 minutes, then analyzed Mean, Variant and Standard
Deviation using the ueq-online site. The results of the UEQ test have five scales that are
categorized Excellent, namely the Attractiveness, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation and
Novelty scales. While the Perspicuity scale is categorized as Above Average according to the
UEQ benchmark interval. All mean values above <0.08 indicate that the evaluation of
multimedia use experience is positive. Conclusions that multimedia learning using the autoplay
media studio.8 program is very good - satisfying to be used for Teacher Professional Education
(PPG) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. Research suggestions will come to pay
attention to teacher collaboration, ICT skills and the suitability of student characters with the
resulting multimedia
